Terms of Service
1. General
These Terms apply to all orders placed via [Store Name] ("we", "us") for the sale of furniture and home goods to consumers ("you"). By placing an order you accept these Terms.
2. Product information
Images are for reference. Colors may vary due to screen settings and natural material characteristics (solid wood grain, leather, marble). Dimensions are approximate (+/- 2 cm).
3. Ordering & contract formation
Your order is an offer. A contract is formed only when we send you an order confirmation email. We reserve the right to refuse orders (e.g., pricing errors, stock issues).
4. Prices & payment
Prices are shown in [EUR/GBP] inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise. Payment methods: [credit card / PayPal / Klarna]. Ownership transfers after full payment.
5. Shipping & delivery
We ship via specialized furniture carriers. Delivery times are estimates, not guaranteed. Curbside delivery is standard; indoor placement / stair carry / remote area surcharges may apply and will be shown at checkout. Risk passes to you upon delivery and signature.
6. Inspection on delivery
Please inspect the package upon arrival. Visible damage must be noted on the carrier's receipt and reported to us within 48 hours with photos.
7. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal. However, custom-made, made-to-order, and hygiene-sensitive items (e.g., mattresses, opened bedding) are excluded. You bear the return shipping costs. The item must be in original packaging, resellable condition.
8. Warranty
Structural warranty: 2 years from delivery. This covers manufacturing defects (frame, joints). Excluded: normal wear, fabric pilling, leather creasing, improper use, self-assembly errors, force majeure. Our liability is limited to repair or replacement at our discretion.
9. Liability
We are not liable for indirect/consequential damages (e.g., loss of use, lost profit). Our total liability is capped at the order value.
10. Force majeure
Events beyond our control (strike, transport delays, material shortage) suspend or release our performance obligations.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by [German / English] law. For EU consumers: the ODR platform https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/may be used, though we are not obliged to participate in arbitration.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. The version published at the time of your order applies.
